Wasting Time When I Should Write

Immediately after my last post, I started looking up other writing websites with the idea that I would put my articles that were deleted from Bright Hub elsewhere. I spent (wasted) and hour and a half of my time doing this, and then went to bed annoyed with myself for wasting time. I considered putting them on Suite 101, and perhaps I still might do that one day, but even for Suite I would have to change them slightly. So I'm kind of frustrated and I wish I could just let it go and focus on my novel.

It's been almost a month since I have written any more of it and I need to get back to it. The story is far from finished. I am estimating that it will be around 100,000 words, so I'm only half way. I am starting to lose touch with my story and the characters I have grown to like very much. It's unlikely that I will write everyday, given that when I work at the vet clinic they are generally long and tiring shifts, but I can write for a few hours perhaps three or four days a week. The other thing that stands in my way is my gaming. After not playing for a month I have spent a lot of my free time this December making up for lost time. But if I organise my time well, I can do both, and that will make me happy.
